EN LOS COMENTARIOS ESTÁN LAS DUDAS RESUELTAS Y MUCHAS MÁS APORTACIONES INTERESANTES 
As I said yesterday to a friend, we cannot try to understand in two hours and a half what Christopher Nolan has been thinking for over two years while he was writing this awesome movie. Yep, I said awesome, because I believe that we need much more “intelligent and commercial” cinema and because he has created an incredible universe with its own rules in order to tell his story. But this post is not about that, this post is about two mistakes that I’ve found in the plot. I really don’t know if they are mistakes, so if anyone knows the answer to them I would be very grateful if they could explain them in the comments.
Como le dije ayer a una amiga, no podemos intentar entender en dos horas lo que Christopher Nolan ha estado pensando más de dos años mientras escribía esta maravillosa película. Sí, he dicho maravillosa, porque creo que falta muchísimo más cine comercial inteligente como éste y porque ha creado un universo increíble con sus propias reglas para contar esta historia. Pero este post no pretende hablar acerca de eso, este post es acerca de dos errores que he encontrado en el argumento. En verdad no sé si son errores, así que si alguien sabe la respuesta a ello le agradecería que los explicara en la sección de comentarios.
1. Zero gravity / Gravedad cero
Due to the fact that the van started falling off the bridge, there was not gravity in the “dream level” beyond, the hotel level. As a consequence, Arthur has to tie everyone together and put them in the elevator so that they can receive the kick later to wake up in the upper level. But, if there is zero gravity in the hotel level, why is there gravity in the snow one? I mean, there isn’t gravity in the hotel level because there is no gravity in the bridge level, so, as a consequence, if there is no gravity in the hotel there shouldn’t be either in the snow level.
Debido al hecho de que la furgoneta comienza a caer desde el puente, no hay gravedad en el nivel de sueños inferior, el nivel del hotel. Como consecuencia, Arthur tiene que atar a todo el mundo y ponerlos en el ascensor para que puedan recibir la patada para despertarse más tarde. Pero, si hay gravedad cero en el hotel, ¿por qué no hay en el nivel de la nieve? Quiero decir, no hay gravedad en el nivel del hotel porque no hay en el puente al estar la furgoneta cayendo, por lo tanto, como consecuencia, si no hay gravedad en el hotel tampoco debería de haber en el nivel de la nieve.
2. Water kick / La patada en el agua
At the end of the movie, when they receive the kick they start waking up from one level to the upper one. For instance, Ariadne falls off a building in the limbo level and she wakes up in the “bunker” of the snow. That bunker explodes and she wakes up in the upper one, the elevator. In the elevator, she bumps into the elevator roof and she wakes up in the van. But when the van hits the water, NOBODY WAKES UP IN THE PLANE! Inexplicably they sink in the water! They should have woken up in that first level, but they don’t. My theory about it? Nolan needs Fischer to tell someone that he isn’t going to continue with his father’s empire, which is exactly what he says to his uncle in the shore when they have escaped from the sinking van. If they had woken up in the plane, Fischer wouldn’t have had anyone to tell this to, and Nolan wouldn’t have been able to solve the question of the main plot. Thus, Nolan decided to break the rules of his own universe to fulfill this.
Al final de la película, al recibir la patada comienzan a despertar desde el nivel de abajo hacia el de arriba. Por ejemplo, Ariadne cae desde un edificio en el nivel del limbo y se despierta en el nivel del búnker de la nieve. Ese búnker explota y se despierta en el nivel superior, el del ascensor. En el ascensor, se choca contra el techo del ascensor y se despierta en la furgoneta. Pero cuando esa furgoneta choca contra el agua, NADIE SE DESPIERTA EN EL AVIÓN! Inexplicablemente, en vez de despertarse en ese nivel superior, se hunden en el agua. Deberían de haberse despertado en ese primer nivel, pero no lo hacen. ¿Cuál es mi teoría? Nolan necesita que Fischer le diga a alguien que no va a continuar con el imperio de su padre, que es exactamente lo que hace hablando con su tío en la orilla después de haber escapado de la furgoneta que se hunde. Si se hubieran despertado en el avión, Fischer no habría tenido a nadie a quien decirle esto y Nolan no habría sido capaz de resolver la pregunta de la trama principal. Por lo tanto, Nolan decidió romper sus propias reglas para poder resolverla.
Don’t get me wrong, I do believe that it’s an amazing movie, but I believe that Christopher Nolan broke his own rules for the sake of the plot. For #1 it’s quite obvious that it would have been super weird if there was gravity in the snow level and for #2 he needed Fisher to tell his uncle that he wasn’t going to continue with his father’s empire, because if he had woken up in the plane he wouldn’t have had anyone to tell this to as he didn’t have enough confidence with either of the other passengers. Nolan had to solve the biggest plot question, so he took the short road. There are some more minor plot holes but these are the biggest and most important ones.
No me entendáis mal, creo que es una película increíble, pero también creo que Christopher Nolan rompió sus propias reglas para resolver tramas. Para el #1 es bastante obvio que hubiera sido súper raro contar todo lo de la nieve si no hubiera gravedad y para el #2 necesitaba que Fischer le dijera a su tío que no iba a seguir con el imperio de su padre, porque si Fischer se hubiera despertado en el avión no habría tenido a nadie a quien decirle esto ya que no tenía confianza con ninguno de los pasajeros. Nolan tenía que resolver la pregunta de la trama principal y tomó el camino corto para resolverla. Hay algunos errores más pero estos son los más grandes e importantes.
