Maya Springboard – Week 3

Heeeeey guys! How are you doing? This week has been so fun at Animation Mentor!
To start with, the freakest thing of the week was that in the Office Hours Q&A my friend Chris Severs and I painted our faces with the Spanish colours to celebrate the victory!
Besides, I got to know who my Maya trainer is going to be until the middle of September! His name is Paul-Erik Trouwborst. He is a former AM student and you can check out his demo reel here:
Today I have my first Q&A with him and my classmates, who are from France, UK, United States and the United Arab Emirates so far! However, in the meantime I have continued with my tutorials and sketching a little bit. One of those tutorials I made was this creepy alley with the biggest moon ever.
So basically, this week and the following ones are going to be hard because I will need to turn in two assignments per week! Moreover, there are tons of training videos and stuff to learn from! I need 48-hour days! 
But no matter how much time I devote to animation I will always have a pair of hours to go to the cinema and see TOY STORY 3, which is released this week in Spain! SO EVERYBODY GO AND SEE IT! AND NO DUBBED VERSIONS! V.O.S. V.O.S. V.O.S.!!! You will miss a superb sequence and voice acting if you see the dubbed version!

¡Chicooooos! ¿Cómo vais? Esta semana ha sido genial en Animation Mentor.
Lo primero y lo más friki de la semana fue que mi amigo Chris Severs y yo nos pintamos las caras con los colores de España para celebrar la victoria (ver foto arriba)
Además, supe quien iba a ser mi entrenador de Maya hasta el final de Septiembre. Su nombre es Paul-Erik Trouwborst. Es un antiguo alumno de AM y podéis ver su demo reel ahí arriba también 
Hoy tengo mi primera Q&A con él y mis compañeros de clase, que son de Francia, Reino Unido, Estados Unidos y Emiratos Árabes. Sin embargo, hasta hoy y durante la semana pasada he continuado con mis tutoriales y haciendo algunos sketches. Uno de esos tutoriales que hice fue este misterioso callejón con la luna más grande que hayáis visto.
Así que básicamente, esta semana que empieza y las siguientes van a ser duras pues necesitaré entregar dos trabajos por semana. Además, hay montones de vídeos de entrenamiento y cosas de las que aprender. ¡Necesito días de 48 horaaaas! Aún así, no importa cuanto tiempo le dedique a la animación que siempre tendré un par de horas para ir al cine y ver TOY STORY 3, que la estrenan esta semana en España. TODO EL MUNDO AL CINE A VERLA! Y NADA DE VERSIÓN DOBLADA! V.O.S. V.O.S. V.O.S.!!! Os perderéis una gran secuencia y grandes voces como la veáis doblada.
