Maya Springboard – Week 1

Weeeeeey! I finally started Animation Mentor! This is incredible! I already had one Question&Answers session and tonight I have another one! There’s not much to do yet, as the main contents start on week 4 of this Summer Term. Anyway, I am so eager to start that I have been watching and studying with the Maya Essential Tutorial from Lynda.com, a series of videos that explain the basics of this astonishing software. Furthermore, I am reading “How to cheat in Maya 2010″ by Eric Luhta (a former AM student) and “Learning Autodesk Maya 2010″. A pair of books that I recommend to everyone starting in this huge world of computer animation.

¡Comencé Animation Mentor! ¡Es increíble! Ya tuve mi primera sesión de preguntas y respuestas por la webcam y esta noche tengo otra. No hay mucho que hacer de momento, ya que los contenidos principales comienzan en la semana 4 de este trimestre de verano. De todas maneras, tengo tantas ganas de empezar que he estado viendo y estudiando con el tutorial “Maya Essential Training” de Lynda.com, una serie de vídeos que explican las bases de este software. Además estoy leyendo “How to cheat in Maya 2010″ by Eric Luhta (un antiguo alumno de AM) y “Learning Autodesk Maya 2010″. Un par de libros que recomiendo a cualquier persona que vaya a comenzar en este amplísimo mundo de la animación por ordenador.
